Universal Socket Fits Almost All Nuts and Bolts
The standard model fits a 3/8 inch square drive ratchet and will fit any nut or bolt–both English standard and metric–from 1/4 inch (7mm) to 3/4 inch (19mm). This one size fits this entire range of sizes due to an ingenious design that used 54 spring-loaded hardened steel pins that conform to the shape of the object. You can even use it to remove broken bolts as long as you can file a single flat surface so that it has something to grip. The shape doesn’t matter. You can use the Gator grip to ratchet hex-head bolts, square-head bolts, screw eyes, hooks, and other hardware. This socket is sturdy. It is rated at over 100 foot pounds of pressure, which is a more pressure that a human being can put on a standard ratchet without using a handle extension.

There is also a big brother called the King Gator Universal Socket. The King Gator works with a 1/2 inch square drive ratchet. It accommodates larger standard and metric nuts, bolts and other hardware from 7/16 inch (11mm) to 1-1/4 inch (32mm). This brute is rated for more than 400 foot pounds of torque pressure.
You can buy the universal sockets individually or in sets. We have several family cars, each with a different sized drain plug. The standard 3/8 inch drive Gator Grip model fits them all and save a lot of frustration by allowing me to always have the proper sized socket when I crawl under a car to change the oil.
This is the perfect gadget gift tool for your favorite mechanic or home handyman.
