TolePure Luxury Japanese Toilet Seat

I used to travel to Japan quite a bit in the 1980s and early 1990s. The traditional Japanese squat toilet was just a porcelain slot in the floor. Since then, Western-style toilets have become more popular–and the Japanese have used their innovative talents to improve on Western designs with a luxury toilet seat that overcomes many issues that aren’t discussed at the dinner table.

In the mid-1990s, I started hearing about improvements being made to Western-style toilets. Since then, these types of commodes have become very popular in Japan. It was interesting to see the TolePure Warm Water Washing Toilet Seat at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show.

This model is being introduced in the the USA market. It is a high-tech toilet seat that can be adapted to American-style toilets according to people at the booth. You will find a control console on the right-hand side, The TolePure model has three levels of temperature control that warm the seat for cold mornings. Like a bidet, it washes your hiney with warm water with three types of washing styles, including soft, oscillating and pulsating (I can feel it now). There are also three selectable levels of water temperature and seven adjustable levels of water pressure.

We don’t know who will be picking up this product, but as soon as we find it, we will publish links to the site.
