WowWee FlyTech Dragonfly
Posted on February 16, 2007The WowWeeFlyTech Dragonfly is a rather unique and remarkably inexpensive (about $50) remote controlled flying bug that is destined to hit the market in Spring of 2007. This device appears to be beyond cool. The FlyTech Daragonfly is designed to flap its wings to achieve flight, much like a real dragonfly. It is essentially a radio controlled ornithopter (wing flapper) with very unique design characteristics.
The Flytech Dragonfly was developed by Wowee, the innovative company that develops and markets other top-line robotic toys, such as the Robosapien and Roboraptor robots. We visited the Wowee booth at the Consumer Electronics Show a few years ago and found the company to be heavily involved in very leading edge robotics technologies, which they apply to products designed for the toy and the robotic hobbyist markets. Indeed, the Flytech Dragonfly comes complete with a remote control and is designed for children 8 years or older.
When this interesting product hits the market, we wil provide you with links to leading merchants where it can be found. The WowWee FlyTech dragonfly is priced around $50, which makes it a bargain for a unique gift or personal gadget.
