Eton really did a nice job with this self-powered crank-up emergency radio. It is always a good idea to have an emergency radio on hand that does not depend upon batteries. The problem with most emergency radios is that they get put in a closet until they are needed, and when they are needed, the batteries are frequently drained of life.
