Bose Wave Radio II
The key to the improved sound is something Bose calls dual tapered waveguide technology. I’m not sure how this works, but all the Bose radios I’ve reviewed sounded great.

One thing that some people do not like about some of the Bose units is characteristic of this Bose unit, as well. Instead of buttons on the radio, everything is with a credit card-sized remote. The digital FM/AM tuner, amplifiers and speakers are all built into the unit, so there isn’t any wiring or assembly. it is a tabletop radio. For enhanced sound from other electronic devices, you can connect the Wave Radio II to to the output from your TV, VCR, DVD player or computer through an auxiliary input jack. There is also a headphone jack for private listening.
The Bose Wave Radio II is compact and easily fits on top of a night stand next to a bed or on a kitchen counter. What about the price? Well, you will pay a higher price for quality and expect to pay more for any Bose product.
